Customize our link youtube video

Hi,

I was browsing on Youtube Spotlight Channel, I noticed this link : //yt.be/joguecomorgulho and it seems we can customize the link of our video but I don't figure out how it's work any tips ?¸

Thats seems awesome if its possible for eveyone, It may just be a thing for Google and their channels or for top youtubers.

Also there is a youtube short url for every video thats uploaded, for example its youtu.be/0tX2Dpq89Qw (so its the id of the video - all the numbes and letters after watch?v= in the normal length url)

But it would be awesome if we can change those numbers/letters to actual words
 
I don't think everyone has access to that yt.be shortener.

But we do have access to goo.gl, which is almost as cool.
 
I don't think it's a good idea for them to allow inbuilt custom URLs, people would be fighting over URLs and others would purposely use URLs they know certain channels would just to tick them off. Just use the inbuilt shortener or if you really want custom URLs use Bitly. There really isn't much of a benefit to using custom URLs for videos unless your videos have titles that are extremely unique from all your other titles as well as other peoples.
