Custom thumbnail on unlisted video

Is there any point in making a custom thumbnail on an unlisted video? From my understanding, you can only access this from the link (or channel trailer if set) and therefore, no-one will ever see it's thumbnail?

I've just finished making a channel trailer for my YouTube and I haven't made a thumbnail for it, hence posting this, trying to find out if it's even worth doing or if no-one, except me, will ever see it.

As I'm pretty sure, no-one will ever see it.. but I wanted to be sure

Personally I didn't make a thumbnail for my channel trailer seeing as it does play right away as soon as someone visits your channel. Once they're subbed they're most likely never gonna see it again unless they go into their watch history

Yah, i completely agree, if its not something that will ever just pop up on your channel for everyone to see there really is no need for one

If it's going to be unlisted forever then there's no point in making a thumbnail as no one will ever see it
