Critiques of my channel?

Thats a good idea. Usually I finish a video, and after uploading remember that i have reminded them to like and favorite, but forgot to give them something to talk about in the comments. I have a little upload checklist on my computer, I should add that to it.

Another concern about my channel is focus. I am torn, because on one hand, I want subs, but on the other, I make videos for the fun of it, and want ot make them about what I find interesting. Because of this, I do not have the focus of most channels. I have project videos, gaming videos, and music related videos. Most of the time, these do not overlap. The DIY videos seem to have the best longevity, but dont tend to transfer to subs since they are simply interested in the one tutorial. Gaming videos do ok, but die shortly, and translate into more subs. The music videos that arent DIY related tend to do poorly.

I would recommend that you try to trim down on what people don't watch. I'm not saying that you should stop doing them, because you may like them, just trim down on them. It would probably be better to balance out what you love and what your viewers love, so that way you don't hate it and neither do they.

Yeah, Im sure I could slowly grow as a call of duty channel, and have a sub base, but having fun comes first to me. I am thinking maybe I should create a secondary channel for those videos that I enjoy, and that i will share with friends, but arent relevent to my audience

That could work too, but it would definitely leave some gaps to fill on both channels. You'd probably have to move around your schedule involving uploading, so that way there's no major gaps in between uploads on both.

If you mean I wouldnt be able to put out enough videos, what I meant is when I record a rehearsal or private IRL event, i can have it on my other channel just to link friends, that way I dont clutter my real channel with it. As for uploads, I am making videos faster than my upload schedule has me upload. I am considering switching to a 4 times per week upload schedule. Right now I am M-Th-Sa
My concern is when college starts back up I wont be able to maintain 4 per week

What I meant is that there could perhaps be gaps in your uploading where the videos that you would put out on your other channel, and would most likely have to either move around your schedule or make more videos (Possibly less, if you want.)

You should also try to keep a constant video uploading schedule, but you can tell your subscribers about it when it comes time if you'd rather stay that way.

Yeah.I think with how much work videos are, plus college and working 25 hours a week, I should stick to 3 uploads. I dont want to shock my subs when fall semester hits. Right now I could easily put out one or two videos a day.

Okay then, so you should do what you feel would be better. If I put myself in the shoes of a dedicated subscriber, I would be kind of surprised if you just all of sudden changes your schedule drastically. I hope that my advice will help you with this stuff, anything else you would like to ask before I go to sleep?
 
I'm going to sleep too. I'm sure I will have questions tomorrow though. Thanks for your help and advice
