Not to be taken seriously
Yes, I saw it in my feed a couple days ago. Congratulations!
I watched it the whole way through, definitely kept my interest, so I say well done! Looks like a fun channel, but it's just not my kinda content.
But I don't understand how the whole thing works. Are they just freely advertisting content they like, or do you have to set that trailer as your channel trailer including the Creative-Collective intro/logos and everything...?
Thanks for the info! They just make trailers for channels. You can put the video up on your channel if you like, but it's totally free. All you have to do is sign up and hope they choose you (either they like your stuff, they have a good idea for a trailer, or you do a lot of active promoting/commenting of their content).

It's really nice! And really smart too, it's a synergistic win-win situation. As Creator you get a nice amount of subs and views. They get views and subs from your channel. Because of this creators stick around at their channel, hoping they get a channel trailer too. When doing popular channels, they get a lot views from the Youtube search too. And because of their content, the retention rate is usually high, giving their videos quite a nice ranking! Thanks for the info! And that's really nice of them to do such a thing.
they pick the channels they like doing small channels one day and big the other you can also submit your channel on reddit for a chance to be featured or channels that are fans of creative collective share there video on social meida etc i think thats all the ways but you don't have to put the trailer they made on your channel.I watched it the whole way through, definitely kept my interest, so I say well done! Hi, you can use our business email for questions, or on twitter: ChannelTrailersGreat trailer!!
PS: I was looking to apply myself and was going through the terms and conditions and have a question. Any idea where I should ask?
OMG you actually read the terms and conditions? XDAfter signing contracts with several licensing firms I read everything!! And since in your terms and conditions the word licensing appears I read it very carefullyHi, you can use our business email for questions, or on twitter: ChannelTrailersOMG you actually read the terms and conditions? XD

We check every channels of every applicants, then we choose 10 of them for the next month. If you get a trailer, you can do whatever you want with it, you can use it as your trailer, but in that case we ask you to use annotations pointing to our channel (and the only thing that has to stay is the logo in the corner, if you want to cut out the intro and of course the end-page, you can do that, or sometimes we do it for the channels if they wish.) Also we are very open to any other options, or wishesBut I don't understand how the whole thing works.
