Corrupt MP4 from Android Phone.

Yep I've tried it, but sense I don't use Windows, it probably won't work no matter what. I can't even get it to run. I'd send the file to someone else if they could do it. I thought the program would run under Wine or PlayOnLinux, but it won't.

Upload it to a dropbox file (zipped first) or something and I can have a go if you want, or we can keep trying to find Linux applications that might work?

I honestly have no clue what that all means, but somethings just don't work :p

You might want to put all that in [spoiler Content to hide here[/spoiler] (add a ] on the end of the first tag) aswell so its not so big.

I know droidiinator works with Android, he might be able to help also. I'm not a tech wizard but I can still continue to try help :)

I'd love to send you the file via skype if you like[DOUBLEPOST=1368614001,1368613933][/DOUBLEPOST]My skype is up now. I sent it to another friend via skype.

Don't worry about it, theres not really much I can offer atm I'm afraid. You could wait for some more responses to this thread over today, and later I could try downloading the file if no-one else offers :)

Thanks for your help. At least I can talk here without getting in trouble so far :D
You guys have been helpful. I'll check back in tomorrow.
I think it would be awesome if someone figured this out, because then I could write a tutorial on how to do it. In the old days ffmpeg would fix this, but they did away with ffmpeg and updated to some new confabulation that took it's place. It doesn't make sense that so many people have this issue, and commercial solutions are the only ones available. I'd think adding the meta info for the file, would be all you would need to do, but there seems to be no way to do that. VLC repairs AVI files, but not mp4. Grrrrr. No wonder Mac wanted everyone to use that format, only commercial software works.
