Copyright ?

If your uploading something and not adding value to that content then there could always be issues with copyright.. I don't know how strict news stations are at "protecting" their copyrights.

You could also try reaching out to news stations and explaining what you want to do and if you could get approval for it (I wouldn't worry about this/rely on it to much).
