Copyright Strike

Hi there,
I’ve recently just celebrated my 1 year channel anniversary. I put up a video that had some old old old video am talking videos from like 5 years ago that never made it to YouTube they’ve just sat in hard drive for so long , I put on in the video which includes me and an old friend unfortunately me and that old friend have fallen out and he is threating to flag the video for copyright because he doesn’t wish for it to be there now I’m pretty p****d about this because I’ve spent a good couple of hours editing and uploading this video only for him to threaten to take it down. Is there anything he can do ?, Can he give me a copyright strike for it,

He has personality rights. If he doesn't want to be in your video you have to respect that, he can request YT to take your video down. I don't know if you get a strike, because it isn't exactly a copyright infringement. Just cut the part with him out and reupload.

They can request for YouTube to take it down, but not for copyright. As @mizzylarious said, probably blurring his face out and reuploading would be your best bet. He can't complain about that.
