Hi,

Started receiving copyright noticed on some of my older videos?

EDIT:
I can't add my video here but I have a thread on this subject some place on here.

It is a little strange that all of a sudden these videos are now claimed by either SME, Konami, Believe Music, [Merlin] IDOL and [Merlin] Phonofile????

Anyone else getting any of these??

Meh it's not that weird for them to have taken so long to get a claim on them. The companies might have decided that they would put claims on their stuff and didn't do that up until now.

I keep getting these claims for music that I get via Fullscreen, it pisses me off. As soon as I contact Audioblocks and Fullscreen the claim gets removed. They won't answer me when I ask "So what would happen if my video that got 170k views in a short period of time had a 3rd party claim, would I be reimbursed?" They answer that by saying "If you notice it let us know and we'll remove the claim" which totally ignores the point of my question.

I'm not sure if they would reimburse you. I've never herd of them reimbursing people for that issue. It would be nice if they did. But I feel like they kind of be like meh and brush it under the rug.

Yeah idk mate, I'm partnered with Freedom and they don't even respond to any questions I have in regards to copyright notices... I want to leave but not many other networks have a no lock in contract that aren't a sub network of freedom :(

I disputed the Alan Wake videos at 2am this morning... it is now 4pm and still nothing.

If it's happening in bulk, I'd wager that it is an improvement to the ContentID system detecting what it missed before, or perhaps that YouTube is still going through older videos in waves. It takes a lot of horsepower to match content over the whole system.
