Copyright in name

£20 to trademark a name, something sounds a bit fishy there, filing it with IPO costs around £300 for it with a few classes and even more at other places. I would contact that site directly:

Ask them what UKesTV's classes are and see if your channel falls under the category/classes they tell you. I cant imagine £20 for a trademark being legitimate.

He asked me if I wanted to be appart of his website I had a look at it and agreed because he never said anything about paying for it he just said he would make me one and then he asked me if I could make him an intro on youtube which I did in return for him making the website and then the rest you know with the whole paying him and name problem.
 
I would just not bother contacting him again, you paid him for the site and that should be enough, I dont see why he would even want to register a trademark. Contact that 1and1.co.uk company because I doubt it is registered, £20 sounds like a joke to me, it could be that the company is scamming customers into thinking they own trademarks for such cheap prices.
 
I have emailed the site asking if he could do anything about my account and now just waiting for a reply. If he can do nothing then I will tell him I will no longer be a contact with him and say he can no longer threaten me saying he can take my YouTube away.

How could he do that unless he knows your password.
 
You have a point there I've thought it all over and knew I was right about it all that he can do nothing but I just needed a second opinion on it all
