Copyright claim

I use soundcloud for my music and find music that is Creative Commons. I used one song that had a Creative Commons licence and got a claim. I do monetize my videos. Why does this happen if it says its Creative Commons and I check to make sure? Im still trying to figure this out.

Channels that are part of Content ID likely used the same music and it mistakingly thought they own the rights to it.

If you’re certain that it is a CC piece (and you follow any requirements for it), you should easily be able to dispute the claim and win.

Thanks. I've never disputed it before. I just found another song and re edit it. but that a lot of work. I'll try to dispute it next time.
