Content vs Content

So I am having a hard time about how I bring my content.
So the idea of my channel is that the protagonist, which is me, is cursed by his grandfather which is a pirate, so the grandfather interupts while gaming and also talks, but I am not sure if I should continue this concept or just completely be myself in the videos, so without the pirate. That's what I'd like to ask you, which do you think is more amusing to watch.

I would like to ask you what you think is better, I'll give you 2 videos where you can see the difference.

Please tell me which concept you think is better!

It feels much too forced without a proper reason behind it. Try watching that first video without any backstory or explanation. It's really hard to sit through, And even with that, it wasn't that great. I don't think the concept itself is awful, but the execution isn't all there yet. If you enjoy doing it, and it's something you want your channel to be focused on, then try making the characters more polarizing. Have them argue back and forth, try to make the voices a bit more unique, make their unique features stand out a lot more. It's a neat idea, but pulling it off won't be all that easy.

Thanks for the deep review, I really feel what you are saying, but yeah I need to be in the right mood to do it, and yes the characters need to be developed and more deeper than they are right now, I am not sure if i can do a better pirate voice as currently this already takes it toll

I think you have the right idea in adding a deeper backstory and developing characters better. Maybe explaining where there's two separate voices would make sense in each video. It would only take 10 seconds. You can start the game off as the main protagonist, and have the grandfather jump in and make the main guy say "Oh, great, not you again" or something along those lines. Other than that, it just seems like you randomly chose to do 2 strange characters, and it doesn't feel right.
