I also have a fairly well-tuned "Gaydar". But you can't always tell, even with that feeling. Even if I get a vibe that someone might be, it's never my place (or anyone's other than that person) to talk about it. I've never been surprised when someone has come out to me or when I've heard about someone coming out. Whether I could tell or not, in the end, it doesn't matter to me so long as that person is happy and comfortable with who they are. There's nothing sadder than seeing someone that can't live as they truly are.
