Confused about Subscriber count

Just a quick question about subscriber counts. Youtube says I have twenty subs but I can only see who 14 of them are. Are the other 6 like botted or fake or what? It has been like this for a while now.

In your YT settings you can "hide" yourself from being shown in the subscriber count of other peoples channels. So its not a bad thing, they can still see all your content, bad thing is, you just don't know who "They" are XD
