CONFIRMED: Pay to subscribe channels

ForeverAlonePrick

I don't know what's going on.
Today I noticed that TheYoungTurks opened a new channel titles "TYTPlus", and yes, you guessed it, you have to pay money to subscribe to it. Now it's only five dollars a month, which isn't that much at all, and based on the way they described it I highly doubt that they would apply this to their main channel, but still, I guess this proves it. What do you guys think about a limited pay to subscribe system?

instead of making websites to put ebooks and stuff you want to sell, you can use this as alternative for premium stuff

Who would pay 2 watch content 1,000s of youtubers do for free?

I dont think it would last.

Well, this channel has exclusive content that can't be watched anywhere else. Sure, you can go to any of the thousands of other free channels, liek mine, but if you love these guys and want their videos, you have to go through that channel specifically.

What do you mean? This isn't a premium offer or anything, it's just a new YouTube channel, just like any other. The only difference is you must pay in order to subscribe and view videos, which kinda sucks.

Ehhh, I really don't care, its not affecting me, but if they start making me pay for my RomanAtWood. I am going to throw a tantrum.

They better be putting content worth the $5/month, and I hope my favorite LP's don't do this...
