Computer Specialists! I need YOU!

It is definitely tiny, not much room for upgrading. I'm not sure how much I would be needing to upgrade however with its specs. I feel like by the time I'd want to start upgrading things, I'd may as well get a new PC. The main concern for me is no SSD room.

I'm also pretty confused about how it runs on a 330watt power brick. I feel like a system with those specs in it would need at least a 750watt psu. Anyone know why/how this is possible?[DOUBLEPOST=1367791774,1367791731][/DOUBLEPOST]Shane is your internet only bad on your wireless? Or even when you have it hardwired?
The suggested min PSU for the 660 on Nvidia's website is 450W. However, they compensate for crappy PSU manufacturers that don't actually output the stated value. In reality, it draws 140, and the 3770 draws 77.

Oh, so they just did a good job engineering? haha. Whoda thunk xD

I guess I'm just torn cause of how much of a steal it is, The possible internet limitation scares me a bit, and I've never experienced an SSD, but I'm guessing they are ahmazing.

My internet speed are just bad on that PC :p the dell forums about the x51 are littered with the same issue.

They can run off the 330 watts fine, I`ve seen people put a slightly better GPU in it though and end up frying it :(
Mostly because when intel or nvidia posts recommended wattage it`s alot higher then it needs to be just to keep them safe from a legal stand point :p

So they just have a bad card in there in general? I don't suppose taking that little guy a apart and putting something nicer in there in terms of a wifi card would be practical?

As I said, yes the default card is s**t for lack of a better word :p
I did replace it but it`s still pretty bad because of were it`s located in the system (it can`t get a good signal)

So, ultimate question.

For 800$, is it a good buy? xD

I don`t think so :p
sorry :p

Combination of hatred for Dell Support, Wireless issues and upgrade limitations :p

As I said you could easily find a desktop with better/the same specs for a cheaper price ;)

Okie dokie I suppose I'll keep searching, I didn't find anything as good on that site you showed me, but I didn't look long. Anyways Thanks for all the input :)
