Compliments on YouTube?

I get some compliments, and for the most part, they're fine. I don't like it when viewers seem a little too attached. That gets into creepy territory.
 
The usual "nice video" and "I wonder why you have so few subs" a bunch of times (thing that I wonder as well, I guess it's because I do no advertising or close to zero). Average stuff.

There's so much hate spewed out on a daily basis that it makes me happy to see people taking the time to show their appreciation for something.
I've received some seriously lovely comments on my videos; my personal favourite thus far being:
"How do you have only 230 subs? You should have 230 million subs!"
It made me laugh and really brightened up my day. I get a little awkward because sometimes I don't feel like I deserve it, but I'm always grateful.
 
I like compliments once it isn't some pity compliment lol and u know it's genuine, it keeps you motivated especially if u know u put your all into it ,if u didn't and u know within yourself that you could done better then it kinda feels like it's not genuine lol.
