By just taking a look at how many subscribers he has it is easy to know how. He has rights to every singe video he has on his channel. He probably contacts the copyright holder for each clip he uploads for permission to use that content.

Yeah, there's actually quite a few big youtubers that do this behind the scenes.

It's the businessy side of youtube :)
