Commercials are good for inspiration

Commercials are similar to Youtube videos: short and have to grab your attention to sell something. Watching commercials has given me a lot of ideas on how to make my videos more interesting. I just thought I would put this here in case other people haven't thought of it yet.

I have no intention of selling anything when I make content. I couldn't care less if people choose to subscribe. Why would I put the value of my content into the actions of others ? That's crazy

Good idea. Commercials have a short amount of time to get an idea across in a compelling way. A good YouTube video will also capture the audience's attention, especially if the viewer is not already familiar with the video maker. People are all to ready to find other content to watch if your video is not interesting or compelling.
