Comments Disappearing from Videos?

hey guys…

so today this has happened multiple times. i get a notification in my email that someone posted a comment and i can read the comment there. when i hit "reply" it opens to my video page as usual but that person's comment isn't there.

even when i look through ALL the comments it's not there. if it just happened once, i'd figure the person deleted it. but it's happened numerous times today. and they aren't in the "spam" part either where you have to review it before it goes out.

any ideas?

bizarre. never seen this before…i always reply to my viewers' comments and this hans't been an issue...

Not sure. I check the comment part on the creator studio(or whatever you call it), I found out that there is a new guy who commented who liked my content. I was like, "damn you YouTube, considering a good comment a spam!"

The same here. At least once per week it will happened and usually these are comments from our Japanese viewers. My only explanation is that they are too shy and delete their comment if it is not answered within the first hour. Also sometimes the content of the comment is a little bit controversial.

This sometimes happens to me too. The thing I really hate though is when there's a comment that you are unable to reply to for no reason at all.

yep..that has to do with the person's Google+ settings… they have to switch it so that people can reply to their comments. of course you can't reply to tell them that…ha!

It is happening quite a bit with me as well. Even when I check the comments link in analytics, it's not there either.
