I personally would film it (like stash the camera somewhere, don't hold it) and come out. After it's all over, you could ask if it's okay to put on the internet. If you both are comfortable, I'd post it. I think it would really help LGBT struggling to come out.

I think coming out videos are hugely important, and I am so glad you will do one. My mom doesn't know I have a YouTube channel, so it would be quite awkward if I secretly taper her about anything and then she found out! (She does know I am gay, though. Kinda weird, I guess.)
Things I won't ever put out in a video is personal family issues. Your mom is not aware that you are gay, and the reaction to you telling her could be something very emotional. Just talk to her, and after the fact vlog about it. You have to respect your parent, and hiding anything of note from them (including a camera) is just not something one should do. Definitely do not put anything on the net without consulting her!
