Comedy Ideas!

With gaming comedy, virtually everything has been done, so coming up with the "hot" and "new" thing might not the best question to ask. However, what I would like to know is while watching a gaming/comedy video, what are some things that strike you (as the viewers) attention to want more of whatever the Youtuber is delivering. If it happened to be a Fail-tage or maybe a Let's Play with just hilarious commentary. What makes you stay and keep on watching the video?

In my opinion being yourself is what makes you funny, if you're not a funny person IRL don't try to be funny on YouTube. I know a few YouTubers that aren't funny at all but are still really enjoyable cause their content. Like myself I can't commentate by myself and be funny, I have to be around other people. I hope I'm getting to the subject as of what you're asking the community. If not I'll be glad to help.
 
Personally, I like it if you have a nice voice... I mean some youtubers their voices are just plain annoying... so yeah.. I would have game but I don't think I have the voice for it, so I just make music instead

I completely agree with you, I've also noticed most popular YouTubers aren't american :P
 
I'm going to be honest, I'm not much for gaming channels. I like video games, loved them as a kid and really got into Skyrim last semester of college cause I only had two classes... like REALLY into Skyrim. To the point where you play so long for a day, you feel shame when you look outside and it's dark out, hahahahaha. I simply don't have time for video games right now

You're right, the comedy gaming channel, unless a specific game presents a new concept to toy with, comedic wise, I think you guys are pretty tapped....

That being said, I still DO enjoy and watch from time to time, Pewdiepie, Markaplier, and whoever that new scottish guy is??? I'll come across his vids from time to time... I generally think game channels are kinda boring cause I don't play the games, but I watch those channels for the guys themselves.... the way they deliver the content (Frankly I think Pewdiepie is annoying, but I just like to study him since his channel is so big).

The personality will make me stay and watch, even if I don't know what the hell is going on... You need to find your comedic delivery, be a unique character would be my advice.... but what the hell do I know, I've been here a week, haha

Exactly, I'm gonna be honest I don't find myself funny but don't let that stop you cause some people might enjoy more serious people.

Wow this was like the perfect post... I like the advice and personal ideas to it. Definitely will help while looking for some "new" ideas for a video! Thank You!:D
