Collecting Some Data

Current number of subscribers: 28
Average views per video: 15-40 depending. I promoted a couple and got 800+ views on one and 400+ views on the other but no subscribers or even any interaction from them. They seemed to be watching the whole video but...

I currently have 210 subscribers and on my videos I average 75-250. Don't forget to share your data when you're done! :)

My channel is fairly new, hope these stats go skyrocketing.

Subs: 36

Average Views Per Video: 75

Subscribers: 187
Average views per video: ~244
Median views per video (more useful): 165
Range: 1200 (lowest being 49 and highest being 1249)

I think it is more useful to collect all three statistics, because many people have a couple of videos that bring the average up, so median and range will give you more data about your average.

Hey all!

Looking to get some data from you about your channel - if you have a second and can provide just two data points:
  • current number of subscribers
  • average views per video
I'm looking to get a sense of what the "percentage of subs who both see and decide to watch" is, so if you've recently gone viral or something, please ignore ;)

13,600 subs
103 vids
1,436,221 views

13,943 views per vid

The change happened last march. Whatever update they did with the sub boxes hosed me. You seem to get the bulk of your views the first day the video is uploaded then the views drop to almost nothing and your subs don't even see the vid anymore. BEfore that I would get a solid 2-3 days of large numbers of views.

Right now I'm lucky if a new vid gets 5,000 or more vids. My averages are skewed up because have a lot of vids with 50-100k views.
