Claim on a year old video

I got a copyright claim on an old video by the wonderful NCP. Yea I used their music and won’t fight it but the video was from November 2016. What made the system take so long to find that? It’s always same day and usually instantaneous. Is this a common thing? Any guess or insight appreciated

YouTube rescans videos regularly as their Content ID database increases and their scanning tech improves.

It could also have been found manually.

I have had old videos getting demonetised from time to time, I just click on the review button and hopefully they will review it, which has been with mixed results!
Whenever I get a claim though, I get it immediately, since most of the my videos getting claimed, are videos from concerts I have been to.

Wow. It could be the owner uploaded it recently. But yea. We can expect this now I’m sure
