Checking your sub count

I like to check my daily. If I have just added a video I can't help but check it every couple of hours or so. I'm glad it's not just me!
 
I look at my channel's updated stats everyday. I don't expect too many new subscribers. I gained more subs this year than last year, but it doesn't feel like it.
 
I check every few minuets it seems. I've been a little obsessive about it haha. Everytime it goes up I do a little dance. Lately the count has been a little squirrly going up and down a lot with some subs disappearing for no reason.

The only time I dont check it a lot is when Im working on a new video.
 
I rarely check mine. I've reached a point where I barely care about subscriber count. I just have so many other things to do, YouTube has taken a backseat as a "future career" that I want and is now purely for fun. I'm enjoying myself much more now.... although if I jumped up in sub count I wouldn't be upset! I find myself wondering now that I'm talking about it where I'm at... XD
 
I check it every few hours if I am not at work does feel good when the number goes up and is an active subscriber who watches your videos start to finish.
 
I check mine once a day. To be honest though I am so new to this, that my goal at this point is to get better at story telling and presenting that idea clearly.
 
i gave up checking my sub count, for 2 main reasons, first i've started a new channel, so i'm working on it lately, but the very main reason is .. i kept dropping subs, even tho i had new subs subcribing, i suppose the fault was because i left the gaming niche i was "famous" for and moved to another one (aka, changed game)
so yeah, i ain't gonna fell anymore in the "watch your subs growing" >.<
 
I'm the same, when I ran my food blog I was completely obsessed with stats! It's ridiculous really. As long as it doesn't hinder your content creating I wouldn't worry, you're just someone like me that likes to know stuff. I probably check my subscriber count a good few times a day.
