You can record in 720p which is faster than the 1080p one and you can go down resolutions aswell, you can also take pics with it.

get a secondhand canon powershot g10, my friend had one and it was really good for recording video, i would defo suggest, you may aswell buy secondhadn as you will get a much better camera

for 100 to 200 dollars and you already have an Iphone, I would just use the Iphone for simple Vlogging type stuff. When you get into the $500 range, get a Canon Rebel Ti3 used with a lense.

For Vlogging the Iphone's resolution is plenty for YouTube uploads. Put it on a stand, plug it in and go to town.
