Hi guys,
The camera I use right now for my vlogs is a Canon Rebel T3. It doesn't have a flip monitor, so I can't see myself and have to jump through all sorts of hoops to be sure I'm in-focus when I record. Sometimes, I'm still not in focus... which is really unfortunate because that means a lot of the times, my best takes are unspeakably blurry.
So, any cheap external monitor ideas? Originally, the camera came with a software that would allow me to turn my computer monitor into an external monitor for my camera. Now, it says that "no camera is found" so I can't use it anymore... so I'll need a suggestion other than this.

I've actually been looking myself for a relatively affordable monitor, but no luck. It's made trickier because I've read that several monitors have trouble getting full compatibility out of Canon DSLRs. I'll have a hunt around and if I find anything, I'll let you know!
