Cheap Editing Software

I use Sony Vegas Movie Studio 11, pretty decent bit of kit really. I'm not that good with with editing so I haven't tried to get the full potential out of it, but seems good so far :) Mine was £35, (GBP).

I believe that comes to around 53-54 USD so that's a really good deal on editing software haha. I have used Vegas Pro on a few of my computers while I had the trials for it and it's really the same fundamental thing, except for some exclusive features. Movie Studio is a perfect software for intermediate level video producers, at least until they start making some Adsense cash and can dish out money for Vegas Pro haha. One thing to keep in mind with software as well is that it is a deductible for your Adsense earnings; this past tax filing, I got to write off a Canon camera, my Omni 220 Custom PC, and software that I purchased for video editing :)

If you are a college student, your university may have ridiculously discounted software.

There is a bundle at my school for 350$ that has:
CS6 Photoshop Extended
CS6 Illustrator
CS6 Adobe Premiere Pro
CS6 After Effects
CS6 Adobe Audition
CS6 Encore
CS6 Flash Professional
CS6 Prelude
CS6 SpeedGrade
CS6 Media Encoder
CS6 Bridge

That's a really great idea! I actually never thought about checking the school store for software!
