Hey everyone,

Our new YTtalk chat is now open every Friday all day until Saturday morning. The chat will allow everyone to get to know each other better and is open to all members who have over 30 posts on the forums, anyone with under 30 posts will only see it when they reach it. It displays on the homepage of the forums below everyone's promotional banners.

There are a few rules for the chat room, one is no spamming your YouTube URL on there when it isnt relevant to the chat discussion or using it to advertise anything else and two keep things friendly and welcoming for others. Any spam will be removed and chat access may be revoked on a per member basis if found doing so.

Everyone with over 30 posts will now have access to the chat with it being Friday now here in the UK :)

Please note that all chats are logged on a daily basis and the chat is public to anyone with over 30 posts here.

The hours for the chat room are a bit stale, but nonetheless, finally!
Is this do to moderation issues?

Michael, you should get some trusted members to moderate the chat to make sure that there is no spam!
 
When I choose a Moderator rather soon actually they will be able to Moderate the chat too. I chose to do this Fridays and on special occasions only mainly because I would prefer our member base to be much bigger before having one constantly, where there are plenty of people using both the forums and the chat as something secondary, from my experience adding on open all the time early on can lead to forums growing dead which isnt something any of us would want :)

I would be love to moderate the chat, I have experience with moderating various chatboxes, I would love to help :)
