Channels that fake interest in your channel to get you to sub then unsub you later

Whenever someone even mentions to check out their channel I am going to go ahead and not answer or visit their page unless they have something related to say. Most of those requests end up in the spam box anyway, and those messages are either deleted by me or approved, the latter being very unlikely.

How often does this happen? Sounds like a major problem - but wouldn't it bite them in the a** much later? because Youtube counts Views more than Subscribers. Low view count = dying subscribers. ?

These are just some I didn't remove yet :D
Anyway I never approve them and don't take into consideration

I hate people who play mind games with others like that. You should only sub to people you genuinely find interesting, not just in hopes of getting a sub back, and the same goes for commenting on other's videos! People tend to care too much on how many subs they have, when what they should REALLY be worried about is whether or not their content is the best possible quality. So long as you consistently upload high quality content AND have fun while doing so, the views and subs will come naturally.

Agreed ~

I have this guy, who comments on the video, and whenever he has made a comment about my video, he adds a link to his video in the comment!
