Does anyone else have a discrepancy between the number of views it shows on your channel vs. what views it shows in Analytics?

Actually, the Analytics data is about 2 days behind, while the dashboard channel views is near real-time.

Yeah that could have an impact too. But what I'm talking about is if you go in analytics there is a section that says lifetime views and it includes all private, deleted and unlisted videos in the count while your public view count only includes public videos. On my coolmoo5 channel lifetime view count is about 2,000 more views then my public view count and I only average a few hundred views a month.

My channel's analytics are a bit behind. The subscriber number seems to be hovering up and down.

Are you sure it counts deleted as well? That is weird if it does. Plus, my deleted videos never had more than 1 or 2 hits and I am show a difference from my public and analytics of about 3000 views.

Yep what I'm talking about is under analytics where it says "lifetime analytics" But isn't just deleted video videos, it is also, unlisted, private and public videos too. I don't really know why the difference is so great maybe your deleted videos had more views then you thought.

Can approve that all time views on analytics page counts in views from deleted/private videos as well, like CoolMoo5 said.

There is something wrong. I dont have any private videos and I know for a fact my deleted videos were almost viewless. I really hate youtube.....google

Well it could just be that YoutTube is messed up right now. They are doing a lot of sight improvements and are testing a new layout and stuff.
For more, I know for a fact that I have about 2,000 views of private, unlisted and deleted videos. If you ad up all the views of private videos it is only about a 100 off from difference between the two numbers, but I do have deleted a handful of videos with around had 20 views which I'm guessing ad up to 100. So for me, the numbers add up perfectly.
