Hello Guys!

I want to know how I can change my channel URL, because I made this account 2 years ago and I want to change my channel URL because I think it's kind of a stupid name.. I hope you guys can help me out!

Greetings,
Fabian :)

@Peter Kandane Oh okay thanks! I think that is something YouTube has to change..[DOUBLEPOST=1402252733,1402252640][/DOUBLEPOST]@Peter Kandane Do you know if it's possible to disconnect your YouTube account from your Gmail and make another account and connect to that mail?

Using Google Pages, you can create a new account. All you do is go to Google+, make a new page, then go back to YouTube. Now what you do is (in the top right corner) click 'switch account', then click 'All My Choices'. Under Other Options, it should say the name of your newly created Google+ Page. Click that. Now it will ask you if you want to connect your account with YouTube. Accept, and you're done!

If you are in the upper tiers of YouTube you can do a vanity URL. However you probably won't be able to do that.

But you can change your display name using the G+ Integration.

You can only change your display name. BEFORE YOU DO keep in mind you can only change your display name 3 times every TWO YEARS. Last time I checked, when you go to change it, it doesn't even mention this. A while ago I was messing around my page and didn't realize this, so i had my name messed up. Luckily I was still within the first two weeks of connecting my G+ and YouTube accounts, so I could unlink and make a new one. So keep that in mind.

I think you can only change your URL once, so choose wisely! I kinda regret picking what I've picked but I'm over it now. ITs permanent.

Yeah I try to change mine as I made it about 3 years ago, as you can probably tell by looking at the name. It doesn't allow me but I could link it with G+ which makes my name the channel name which is fine for me (vlogging channel) however now I have to deal with all this crappy G+ integration. They still have got that stuff right T.T
