Channel Trailer

Hey guys, how often do you update your channel trailer? As for me I use the first video I ever made as a channel trailer, but eventually I want to update it and add clips from other videos I made to show what my channel is like. Do you think it is important to update your channel trailer a lot? Or just so long as you have a good one theres no need to update it?

really? I always watch a channel trailer before subscribing just to see what the channel is all about.

A channel trailer usually shows people what you offer in your channel, so something like a professional-ish way of describing your channel or adding clips of the best momets of your videos and such.

Also, you don't really need to update your trailer unless you update your content or something...

I think this is more for new youtubers, like when you are first starting out how necessary if at all is it to add more clips to your trailer..

really? I always watch a channel trailer before subscribing just to see what the channel is all about.

I think I've just become accustomed to discovering and 'feeling out' channels the way I did long before trailers became a thing. I don't know, they're just not for me. I'd rather just watch your videos and find out for myself.

I use the channel trailer box for my latest video or a video I wish to highlight. I don't really see a point in them to be honest. I've never watched one because if I am interested enough in the one video that brought me to your channel i'll find a playlist before I watch the trailer. I think playlists are the best tool you can have for a channel. Keeps things organized, and is hands free promotion.

Yep im the same way, by opinion i feel theres no purpose. Thats what the description box is for.

Thats what i do for my channel. Every new video uploaded i use that as the trailer until the next upload.
