Channel targeted by bots

Is there anything I can or should do about this? My channel was just targeted by bots that for some reason just subscribe to everything possible, my subscriber count went from 79 to 105 in minutes and none of the subscribers watched, liked, or commented on anything about my channel. And a suspiciously large amount of these subscribers don't make their subscriptions public, but I found one of the new ones that do.

There doesn't seem to be a way to check exactly how many channels they're subscribed to, but when you look at the subscriptions and scroll to the side, you see the option to click on to view "500+ more", so they're subscribed to over 500 channels.

Er... make a 100 subs special? Jk, I don't really know what to do about those bots either. I know for sure I have some on my channel. I usually don't mind these guys, they don't really seem to pose much of a harm.
 
20 is nothing too serious, youtube will clean those up someday anyways so don't worry

Also those might not be bots, those just might be those people who don't have a clue how to "use" youtube properly, and be like "wtf is a subscribe? meh *click* nothing? oh well".

Maybe if YouTube was slow at updating subscribers that day, it would be possible, but still unlikely. I've heard it has been slow updating subscribers, but I never noticed because I don't really get any.

If it was actively updating subscribers, then it means 26 random people would have had to subscribe to the channel in an extremely short time with nobody subscribing shortly before or after that. And I think that after hitting subscribe on 200 channels, you might get a handle on what it does, rather than keep subscribing to another 400 channels.

In any case, I think I've learned to stop caring. It seemed like a bigger deal when I was up late on very little sleep and it happened suddenly than it does now.

I'm kind of debating on whether I should post the 100 subscribers in the milestone section or not. It would feel pretty stupid to post that, then if it got corrected, my channel would be back to nowhere near 100.
 
In all honesty, I wouldn't lose sleep over it. If it was hundreds or thousands I would be worried, but twenty is nothing serious as mentioned before. You can contact youtube support if it worries you that much.
 
It sounds more serious when you consider it as 2 years worth of subscribers than considering it as around 20, but still. Most of my subscribers weren't active anyway, even the ones that aren't bots, so it shouldn't really matter.

I think you haven't been around a couple of years ago to see youtube's update to subscriptions, what they did was limit your subscriptions to 2k, unless you get over 2k subscribers yourself, it's a bit similar to twitter's system.

I think they did it to stop people from subscribing to over 2k channels without having any idea what that does.

inb4 they did it for sub4sub/mass subscribing, in sub4sub you should have a 1:1 2:1 ratio so you won't have any problem, mass subscribing was only done by a handful of channels that stopped doing that before youtube did that update.
