Just how important are channel tags? I know that video tags are a very important part of SEO, and that it's a good idea to have a variety of video tags, such as a combination of generic and specific, but should channel tags be treated the same way? It seems to be a bit of a conundrum with not a lot of articles or data on the subject. If channel tags do have some importance, should you mix generic and specific like you would video, or stick to single word, short tags for your channel? Doing competitor research hasn't helped much.
