Channel review

TheSwedishTraveler

I am a Traveler, A Wanderer, A Thinker
Since I´m a relatively new youtuber, I want some feedback on my content! ( I know the fact that I need a better camera than my webcam!)

Here´s a video!

Hey! This video was pretty good and your channel seems to have some interesting videos :) One tip is to have a general script or idea of what you will say to get rid of pauses. In vlogs one key factor is to always be talking or doing something to keep the audience engaged. Also, adding some interesting thumbnails might be a good way to draw in new viewers. Also, your webcam wasn't too bad! The quality was decent and it's what you're talking about that really matters. Keep up the good work.

Hey, TheSwedishTraveler!
Your. channel. idea. is. p e r f e ct. I love traveling channels! And others seem to love that too. But there are some flaws in producement, and i have a few tips.
  • First of all - titles. Pay attention to your titles. If someone sees a video that's called 'music' they won't understand what it is about and won't even open it. Maybe try to name it 'My music taste!' or something like that! : )
  • Thumbnails - i see that your face is in every thumbnail! Don't get me wrong - there's nothing wrong with your face, i love your beard, bro (no ****), but try to make some of them or ask someone to do them for you. For an instance if your music video would have a thumbnail of you and 'Offspring's' cover art or something like that than people would be more interested in the video itself! If you don't know how to do it, or want someone else to do it than you can always message me on Skype. I help with photo/video editing for free.
  • Music - The only thing i hear in your videos is either nothing ( like in skydiving video ) or your voice. Once again - don't get me wrong, your voice is fine, but if you'd add something to play in the background than people would enjoy the video more (once again - editing, i can help you with that) + Africa Compilation Video would be really cool if it would - 1. Be filmed with a better camera. 2. Have background music 3. Have some parts cut out.
  • + Channel art. Your channel art is a horizontal picture of you. Ask someone to make it for you. And your avatar is London's Eye (i think). Add your face! : )
Good luck with future videos, and travels.

Thank you for your tips, I will do what I can on thumbnails and everything! I will see what I can do!

Hey! I watched a couple of your videos and wanted to give you some of my constructive criticism:

-Lighting: Try to video tape yourself at an angle where there is more light on your face. It'll brighten up the quality of the video. Maybe in front of a window or something.
-Edit the video and cut out anywhere there are pauses. It will speed up the length of the video and it makes the viewer easier to watch.
-Get someone to make an intro animation for the beginning of your videos. It could be a 5 second clip with music showing your name. It makes your video look more professional.
-Once you start getting more subs and depending on your $$ situation, I would upgrade the quality of the camera. Again, makes your videos look better.

Otherwise, great channel. I'm envious of your courage to travel and skydive :)
