Channel Name Change Hasn't Worked Properly??

Hi, earlier on today I changed my Channel Name on youtube. When i'm viewing my channel (either logged in or not logged in) it shows my new channel name fine. When im watching one of my videos it also shows my new channel name. However, if I try searching for my channel it doesn't come up with it. The only way I can find it by searching is by typing in my old name.... Also if I find any of my videos through search results, it shows my old channel name.

Im kinda worried this is going to get confusing and as a result make me end up losing viewers. If anyone can give me any hep at all that would be much appreciated.

EDIT: I have also just noticed that it also shows my old name in the button on here too....
 
I'm guessing that you're talking about how your username and URL are different. Your username is tied to your Google+ account, so you have to change it from there. Just go to https://www.youtube.com/account and click on "Edit in Google+" next to your avatar.
 
That is normal (I have changed my username before aswell), YouTube/Google says that it takes some time to properly update across all platforms. Just give it some time. :)

Ah, ok then. That makes me feel a little happier about it. I thought I had done something wrong, as youtube is sometimes not the easiest thing to use since the google+ update.

I once changed my name on Google+ and everything was fine on that day, but the next day YouTube displayed the old name again. It took another day for it to finally display correctly. I'm not sure whether that server was drunk or...
 
If YouTube was a small site it would have been an instant change. But since it is a huge one it's going to take some time to migrate to all the servers.
