Hello everyone!
I have been operating my YouTube channel for six years. The channel's theme is trading card games. My channel saw slight improvements in views over the first five years. The channel is slowly declining this year. Viewers rarely comment in videos and this has been a problem for two years. I am not interacting with most viewers. So far, I have earned 8,400 with only 14 comments in this year.
My job can be very demanding. I cannot have a schedule for videos. I am only able to upload at least five new videos every month. Videos are upload on random days.
Promotions on Facebook, Reddit, and Twitter have yielded very little success. Only one video has ever gained attention on Reddit and that was over a year ago. I have more Twitter followers than subscribers on Youtube and Facebook. Only 33 people follow the Facebook page and over 500 people follow me on Twitter. I suspect the majority of followers on Twitter are bots (I do not pay for bots). My blog's decline hasn't help either. I was averaging 300 readers a day, and that has now dropped to 40 readers a day since April.
I'm also subscribed to many channels in the same genre. I genuinely enjoy these channels. I don't see what I am doing wrong compared to those channels.
What about I doing wrong? Is it my videos' quality, my personality, or inconsistent upload schedule?
