Channel Art or Thumbnails?

Are the thumbnails I've got at the moment any decent? Like I use Photoshop and they get the point of the video across, don't really want to expand in the hardcore custom thumbnails that say for example Pewdiepie and Ali-A do.

Thumbnails are really important. You have to grab your potential audience with them. Your thumbnails don't really pop. So it's a little unappealing. Try some contrasting colors and vibrant outlines

ok guys im no pro i suck at photoshop thats why i dont have it but i made this how does it look its for my wwe news series

Just to remind me: What thumbnails are you looking for? I guess Hearthstone and WoW from what others are posting, but what text do you want on them?

This is my graphics thread for stuff I done before, I can assist you in a Channel Art and possible go-to GFX guy:

Hey mate. I now already have a thumbnail person, thanks for the offer though. But your channel art seems pretty great.

The channel art I'm looking for can be one out of two options.

Option 1: After something medieval/fantasy. Was thinking since Hearthstone and WoW are my two main games and are going to be ongoing no matter what other games I start, maybe to have a few characters from the games in the channel banner?

Option 2: Again something medieval/fantasy but with 300 Gaming in the middle and say my facebook page and twitch links or something like that put somewhere (if you go with this option be sure that it is eye catching).

Really anything that's medieval/fantasy and can be recognized as being the 300 Gaming channel art

Hey guys,
So basically I was wondering whether it is more important to have good channel art or thumbnails? I know the answer will be thumbnails but my issue is I can't keep paying someone (on this site) YTT cash per thumbnail cause I don't post on this site enough to have that kind of YTT cash to spare. I also want a great channel art and this will be a one time expense but the thumbnails are what bring people in, not the channel art. If you guys could help me with this issue and offer a path to choose to resolve it that would be great. Also I recommend you look at my channel to see my current channel art and thumbnails so it's easier to reach a decision and solution.

Thanks
Leon/300 Gaming

I don't really know how to make thumbnails either but if you go to my Ice Bucket Challenge video you will the thumbnail I made. It's not professional but gets the job done for the video I made.

Seriously, though. The more you practice, the better you will get at making good thumbnails.
If you can't afford/don't have Photoshop, there's some freebies out there that work good. (I can't quite remember what they are called, but I'm sure someone else will know.)

There's a free open-source program called GIMP (Gnu Image Manipulation Program I think)

Just want to thank everyone who keeps replying to this thread. If you don't already know, I now have a thumbnail person. Just looking for channel art which I believe two people have offered to make so far.

Heyo! Just curious to see if the channel art is coming along nicely? Bit hard to constantly communicate due to the difference in countries and time zones. Sooooo yeh........just curious.

Happy Gaming!

They're both good to have but having a good channel banner really makes your channel look professional.

Yeh. I now have a thumbnail guy who makes great thumbnails for me, bit hard to communicate with everyone since most of you guys are from the US it seems. Just need a channel banner, posted 2 requests in the graphics, intro, etc section and just waiting for replies.
