Like @Pentra said, often it's updated on the server, but your browser is using a local version. Pressing F5 in the browser will force it to look on the server for a more recent version.

Yeah, I normally wait till it's finished uploading but I don't leave the upload screen until I've at minimum added my thumbnails.
