Change category of Youtube channel

Hello, this is the very first post on this forum. I just registered.

The reason for this is that I registered my Youtube channel and gave upp all the info the were needed.
But choosing the right category for the channel is substantial. Guess what I did! Instead of categorise it as Entertainment/art it got registered as a business.

This forum was my last resort after looking all over the web for answer. In todays modern youtube I didnt find a way to fix this problem. So my question goes as follows: How do you change the channel category?

My biggest concern is that I cant even use the channel from my Android phone as it is registered as a business. From my computer it works fine but want to use it from my phone to.

So please help me with this problem.

so check it out mate, since google has updated youtube, as of last year channel catagories do not exist. The only way to categorize your channel, is to categorize your actual videos.

Thank you for the quick answer. But then how can I make my channel work with my Android app then? I read what you wrote in other forums and such. I just want to use the channel from my smartphone too and not only my computer. All help is appreciated.

hmm.... i mean the actual youtube app will work well enough. If you root your android, there are plently of youtube apps that you can use with SuperUser permissions and capabilities.
