Capture Card Advice

So for the HD PVR to work with my 1080p TV, I will need to buy component->HDMI converter? I have an HD cable so I can watch my TV in HD if this makes any difference.

Im not quite sure what you mean by that (not a TV guy), but it has five component in slots: a red and a white for audio, and a red, blue and green (not sure what they do).

'ok those are the component cables...they also do HD...they are just a small step down from HDMI' - sorry, not sure how to quote
Does this mean that the HD PVR will work with my 1080p TV just using the cables supplied in the Gaming edition?

I use Hauppauge HD PVR Gaming edition. It works just fine for me. :) It's high quality. YouTube ruins it, though. Not sure why.
