This thread is old, and many of the original posters are no longer active on the forum. Please try to avoid bumping older posts... But since this format is still relevant for YouTube 2018, I'll leave this thread open for now.

Have you checked to make sure your file size 2560 x 1440 pixels big and under 4MB? Do you get an error message? I remember it being kind of hard to get a picture that large and under 4MB without removing some of its quality.

Thanks It depends what partner you choose, im with RPM and they split the money 60:40 so I get 60%. RPM are really good and now they have no requirements

60/40 is horrible! if you sign another contract with them, bring it waaaay down. 80/20 or 90/10.

I think it should be able to work on both.. Do you have any spaces or special characters in any of the file names? I'd try removing them, if they exist... Other than that, without screen shots of the error message, I'm not sure what it could be....

It has been 5 damn years and this problem is still occurring.
I have tried 4 diff sizes and tried 3 different format like jpeg jpg png etc. Nothing has worked. Someone please help

@kevin12345 - As Katy said - This is a very old thread. There is a more recent thread discussing this in the branding section -> http://yttalk.com/threads/i-cant-upload-a-new-banner.275421/#post-2266082 Please use that thread. But since other people are having the issue, it's probably a temporary glitch or bug so you should contact YouTube support.
