Can't comment of videos

I am trying to leave comments on vidoes, but it simply comes up with a message saying error when i try to post it. Anybody know whats up with this?

I'm not sure what could cause this, maybe you lost the permissions to comment? I'm sure youtube has some sort of system to prevent "spam comments". No doubt it's a mistake.
 
Most of the time it's your browser. There are a couple of fixes.
-delete your cookies
-restart your pc
-reinstall your browser: this one should work
 
I have had this same problem for a month now when i leave comments for the channels i am subscribed to on my phone where i had no problem before. I think it is a tech problem on youtube.
 
Good that your issue was solved.
One thing I'll add for anyone reading: you can definitely have your comments filtered out if they are spammy.
I recently went into my spam folder and found a bunch of comments from people who simply had words like "channel" and "my video" etc.
I didn't add any filter against this. Youtube did it automatically.
So be sure to always leave relevant comments on other people's videos.
