Canon 60D vs Canon t5i?

Hey guys :D I'm looking to invest in a new camera (currently have the Canon t3). I'm a film major, and also a photographer. I've read some great things on both the 60D and t5i, so I'm a little torn on what to go with. I've been told if I'm going to be doing a lot of advanced video work, I should go with the 60D because it has a lot more manual flexibility. What do you guys think?

Have you tried seeing multiple reviews on youtube yet? Thats how i make decisions on anything i buy. I kinda personally feel like i'd be happier with T5i but its a personal preference. Either way both of these cameras are extremely nice to have its just small personal details to decide between. Good luck!

T5i review

Hello my love! I've been in the SAME EXACT shoes as you.

I too started off with a Rebel t3, and loved it, but due to the school I'm going to now and wanting to become more serious with my video work, I decided to go looking.

I had the same exact debate between 60D and T5i, and after doing much research and asking advanced friends in the field, I've gone with the Canon 60D and I am in love. Absolutely.

The only thing is that it doesn't auto focus while filming, but honestly that's not even a concern at all. I've played at all of the different FPS, with my Thanksgiving video being shot at 24 fps.

If you want to check out how it films check out my channel! I believe it's the greatest investment I've made and I don't plan on upgrading again.

I currently own the t3i and i'ma upgrade to the 70D because of the better functions for video (auto-focus silent, snappy, smooth....) that make it personally the best video camera under 2000 (1000-1300$) But to pick one the 60D.
