I was woundering if you can help me in anyway in my New Years reselusions:

Get a better edititing software
Please suggest any good value editing software

Make a minecraft parody
Animators, songs, help, anything!

Get into a whitelisted minecraft server <-------- Important

I recommend getting Sony Vegas or Adobe Premier Elements. I use Sony Vegas Pro 11.

I've heard Sony Vegas is a good editing software, but I have never used it myself.

i agree with the others above me if you're looking for good software you can't go wrong with sony vegas, and im looking forward to seeing a minecraft parody!

ah ok. I was going to suggest Final Cut Pro X, that's what I use. It's workflow is really easy and fast to pump out content. not so much for detailed colour correction and effects. But still really good. Unfortunately it's mac only. I can't suggest Sony Vegas only because I have never used it. I have used Adobe Premier Pro and was able to pick it up really quickly. Plus it has dynamic link between other Adobe products like bridge and After Effects which is really useful.
