Can you have to many playlists?

Definitely can never have enough playlists, I keep a playlist of every separate game I play so that every video is accessible easily without tedious searches.
And if you go the rout of using them to separate vlogs,music, etc like you mentioned. Then is great to help people find more videos of yours that they prefer to see over some they may not.
Just my opinion, though it seems to be a fairly shared one,
 
First, you have to understand playlist are like new uploads to your channel. So if uploading consistently on your channel is not a problem, that means adding playlist which count as new content can't be a problem...

Adding more playlist will only go a long way to grow your channel so make as much as you can, even if the playlist contain just 3 or 4 videos.
 
well i am a gamer so i have loads of playlists, just to make it easier for my viewers to find videos :D i think it also makes the channel look a lot more tidier :)
