Can you guys help me find a camera?

This is going to be used for a documentary. Basically needs to have all the features as paranormal activity 4.

  • Night Vision (Optional)
  • Optical Zoom
  • Ability to add a light
  • Plugins for microphone
  • Good microphone inside.


Also, as cheap as possible please. I'll be looking in stores so I need those model numbers people! Help me and I'll toss some YTTalk cash at yo face.

Ah that'll be fine then. Make sure it has the proper inputs, if you buy an XLR mic and your camera has no XLR input you're gonna have a bad time

Yeah, I just need some good model numbers.

I am going to blow a lot of savings into this, being my passion.. so I will want it good.

Just remember if you are going for a DSLR that focusing on the fly is quite tricky and tough to do, there are some out there that have decent hardly noticeable autofocuses but they are far and few between, So if you are going to be shooting a POV movie maybe autofocus would be useful. Might not if you'll be shooting actual documentaries ^^
