Can Y'all Review My End Slate?

Brandon Dorner

Loving YTtalk
Hey so I've had an end slate I've used for a couple months but someone suggested that I improve it, so I'm asking if y'all would check it out and let me know what you think of it and what to add to it

Thank you in advance.

I like it, Brandon! It's simple and to the point, with a nice big subscribe button - I wonder what you're trying to tell us to do? ;)

Thank ya merc, I like it how it is too but I do plan on adding the dates we will post once we get enough videos stockpiled so I'm not sure how we will make that look but I'm sure it'll work

I'm not the best at reviewing stuff myself since I don't always trust my opinion is the right one :P But it's very clean and simplistic. If that's what you like you should keep it. The only thing I don't like is the plain black background. If you have any artistic skills you could try and make something a little more in-line with your brand? Perhaps something like you channel banner where you can clearly see you're "Ships & Sailors Comedy" ? :)

I like it! It's a very simple design, but that's best for endtiles - you don't want it too complicated! Only a few tiny (and I mean tiny) things you could tweak:

1. Background color (as Okari mentioned above me). Just a change of colour, maybe something brighter, is not only more eye-catching but it gives a better vibe. Given your channel is jokey and entertaining, a lighter colour seems more upbeat. That's just my opinion, but couldnt hurt!

2. Have both featured videos the same size! It's a very tiny thing, and I'm being pretty pedantic about it, but it'd make the whole thing seem a lot nicer and more polished.

Hope this helped! Good stuff though, and loving the audio-syncing with the recommended videos appearing - nice touch!

Thank you guys, yea I'm gonna definitely add some kind of background color/gradient just so it looks more fun, I'm still figuring out GIMP so hopefully I'll understand it all soon enough

GIMP is an amazing tool! I've used it for years and actually prefer it to Photoshop since I've become accustomed to it. It does have a bit of a learning curve though and not everything is straight forward but once you get it, you'll get it ^_^ Best of luck!! :D <3

I find it is too really. Plus a lot of things that work for Photoshop, (Brushes, gradients, filters etc.) work in gimp as well! And if they don't it's something you can always request the developers to work on! :D
