I'm more into gaming channels so I can't say anything about your videos, but things you need to fix not related to your videos.
1) Get an avatar. It just looks nicer when you have an actual avatar instead of the generic Google+ person.
2) Get a channel banner. Same reason pretty much, just looks nicer. Either make one yourself with Photoshop or something like that, or ask someone to make one. You can request these two in the graphics section. http://yttalk.com/forums/graphics-intros-music.39/
3) Customize the layout of your page. Make it neater, add the box that shows the recommended videos to watch. Change it by going to the far right of your name and clicking on the pencil icon that appears.
4) Get some social media. It will help connect with your viewers and show them that you are a friend and not just some random guy on the internet. I think Twitter is the most popular so you should at least try to get that.
