Can i use a normal sized windscreen for my samson go mic?

Not to offend anyone, but apparently you don't know what a pop filter does, because if you did you wouldn't ask this question. You could stretch a sock over the top of the mic and get a similar effect. Go ahead and use whatever size you want, make a big 3 foot across pop filter and use that. Effect will be essentially the same.

Pop filters are for either people who don't know how to work a mic, or for situations where the microphone is your second or third priority (livestreaming) and you can't be bothered with worrying about your positioning. Those who practice and really learn how to use their mic don't need a pop filter. This is true for ANY microphone.
what you said made no sense how does the question imply that i don't know what a pop filter does (-_-)
i actually want a windscreen because i tend to have a lot of air/wind that is heard in the mic from me (sometimes background noise) and to keep spit off of the mic

i want someone who has a windscreen to tell me that if you position a microphone correctly no background noise would be picked up and that spit/saliva doesn't get on the mic

Many people who know how to use a microphone use a windscreen and a pop filter please look it up

As I said, if you knew what a pop filter did, you wouldn't be asking if a slightly off size one would work for your microphone. Buy a disc pop filter, buy a random piece of foam, put a sock over the mic, it does not matter because frankly you're not recording with sufficient production value to notice how the pop filter colors your sound anyways. This would be true with a properly sized one, or any other. If you knew what a pop filter did, you wouldn't ask whether an off size one would work because you would already know the answer. Just don't come here with lies about what you know when you're asking for advice.

People who know how to use a microphone properly as far as positioning and other kit use pop filters for convenience of movement, not because they absolutely require them to get rid of pops. If you can't record through proper positioning and focus eliminate all pops without using a pop filter, you don't know how to use a mic properly. Period.

and to keep spit off of the mic

Well you definitely don't have the mic correctly positioned as per my advice if there is spit landing on it. You should not be talking into/at the mic. You should be talking past the mic.

Put your hand 5cm away from your mouth straight in front of you and say "Betty Boop" (you can feel the exhaled air)
Now move your hand 5-6cm to one side but at the same height and say "Betty Boop" again. (no exhaled air hits your hand)

Replace hand with mic and problem solved.
